Richard Jackson joined the Board of Trustees in 2015. He was born in Northampton and has lived in Wellingborough nearly all his life. He established and served as Chief Executive for 22 years Camden Jobtrain - one of London’s largest vocational training organisation for vulnerable young people and adults. He established more than 50 different engagement, training and support programmes.
Richard is a former Councillor in Wellingborough and is a founder member of the Management Committee of The Victoria Centre, also in Wellingborough. He has been a Governor for two local primary schools and has Chaired and sat on various national, local and London-wide Committees advancing the cause of life-long learning and combatting discrimination.
Richard was a single-parent - bringing up three daughters on his own. Early support and intervention for struggling parents is an issue very close to his heart
