Dr Rebecca Johnson BA(Hons) DClinPsy CPsychol is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with 18 years clinical experience in the NHS, predominantly in the field of Child and Adolescent Mental Health, with a special interest in Infant Mental Health and parenting. She has worked clinically 1 day a week in Perinatal Mental Health at Warwick Hospital, Warwickshire, for 12 months (2016-17). She has been a Solihull Approach trainer and contributor since 2001 and is currently employed by the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust as the Solihull Approach Development Manager. The Solihull Approach integrates psychotherapy concepts with child development and learning theory into a practical framework to support practitioners and parents to think about parent-child interactions, parental states of mind and child development. This understanding helps to facilitate secure attachment relationships between infants and their caregivers, thereby promoting healthy child development. Rebecca is also the mother of two school aged children.
