Flourishing Babies Enagement Project Coordinator

Gemma has a BA (Hons) degree in Criminology from the University of Northampton and focused her dissertation on The Effects of Domestic Violence; Supporting women and their children through the ordeal of leaving an abusive partner. This then lead to an 8-year career within domestic abuse support services where she was able to support survivors of Domestic Abuse through group work, one to one support and strategic partnership working. Gemma is a trained trainer and as part of the Training Strand within Northamptonshire Against Domestic and Sexual Abuse, helped to create and deliver County wide training packs on Honour Based Violence and Female Genital Mutilation.
