First Steps Project

This service targets families or parents to be, under the age of 25, who are LAC, have previously been in care or known to social care, or adopted.

In most cases, a secure relationship between a caregiver and their infant forms naturally and enjoyably. Sometimes, however, issues may prevent a parent being able to be attuned to their baby’s needs and respond accordingly.

Parent-Infant Therapy focus on the relationship between baby and parents where this might be at risk and aims to preserve and protect the health and well-being of both the babies and the parents.
